The Christmas service project for 2019 is Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship. This ministry serves children who have a parent incarcerated during the holidays. You must register to participate in this program. You can participate in one of the following ways:

  1. Purchase two gifts (one clothing and one toy) for the child you selected (due by Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019)
  2. Bake cookies for the Angel Tree Party (due Sunday, December 1)
  3. Volunteer at the Angel Tree Party on Saturday, December 7, 12-2 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church in Wilmington

Register at the table in the Lobby on Sunday mornings beginning November 3. You will receive details about the child’s wish list upon registering, gifts are tailored for each child. Gifts are due back to the church by Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019.

The Angel Tree Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 7, 12–2 p.m. at  Hanover Presbyterian Church (1801 N. Jefferson Street, Wilmington, DE). If you would like to be a helper at the party, call the church office at 302-478-4255 or sign up in the Lobby.  Greeters, servers, and people to transport the gifts are all needed at the party.

In addition to helping at the Angel Tree Party, we also need volunteers to bake cookies for the party. Bakers are asked to make 24 cookies (2 dozen) and bring them to church on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Sign up in the church Lobby to volunteer as a cookie baker.
