God has placed us in our city to be a lighthouse for Christ. To be most effective we must partner with other like-minded churches, agencies and ministries. We seek to earn the right to proclaim the gospel through building relationships, meeting needs and displaying love. We partner with several ministries throughout the Brandywine Valley in various ways including financial support, service opportunities, training and events. Prayerfully consider serving with one of our ministry partners.
Watch the video to learn how we are making a missional impact on our community:
Listed below are some of the local organizations with which we routinely partner:
Sunday Breakfast Mission – (school supplies, food drive)
Habitat for Humanity
A Door of Hope – (Baby Bottle Benefit)
Prison Ministries of DE – (clothing)
Prison Fellowship – (Angel Tree)
GOOD IN THE HOOD
The One4Wilmington churches are hosting Good in the Hood Community Day on Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Judy Johnson Park in Wilmington, Delaware (this is near Epiphany Church). In addition to food and fun we will be helping the community in practical ways. We are collecting diapers and wipes from now until Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Drop-off your donations near the Connection Café. We also need volunteers to help with event set up (8:00-10:00 a.m.) and tear down (1:30-3:00 p.m.). To volunteer please complete this form. If you have questions about volunteering, contact Phil Braselton.
