Testimonial: Mike F., a BVBC member, participated in the Financial Peace University in 2014 and found it to be very helpful. “The most important thing I learned at Financial Peace University was having a plan of where to put our money,” said Mike. “Prior to the class I thought I knew how to manage our finances but the course laid out a more thorough and focused path for our finances, backed by expertise that provided comfort.”
Mike was reluctant to spend the money for the class registration fee although he had heard about it from church and friends. He knew he and his wife already followed some of the class principles. Finally, they were compelled to take the class and are glad they did.
“I just expected to learn some new insights about how to effectively manage our finances,” said Mike. “The class met those expectations but also exceeded them in two ways: First, I learned much more than I expected. Second, the course’s emphasis on uniting the couples on their spending and financial management was highly beneficial.”
“I would encourage everyone to take this class,” recommends Mike. “Even if you think you have a great understanding of finances, you’ll undoubtedly learn new things or have items reinforced. Additionally, if you feel like you don’t know or care very little about finances, this course discusses finances in a way relevant to all levels of financial understanding.”
