2017 marks the 500th year of the Protestant Reformation. Join us at BVBC on June 30, 2017 at 7 p.m. to experience the new documentary movie: Luther: The Life and Legacy of the German Reformer. There is no cost to see the movie. This movie kicks off our summer series class “Celebrating the Reformation.”

Discover the story behind the man who sparked the Protestant Reformation. Told through a seamless combination of live-action storytelling and artistic animation, Martin Luther’s daring life is presented in extensive detail while still making the film relevant, provocative, and accessible. Celebrating the Reformation Class

Join us for the nine-week summer series that will explore the fascinating events, issues and key figures of the reformation and its indelible impact on the church today. Special guests speakers will include local church history professors Dr. Derek Cooper and Dr. David Hard. The Summer Series runs Sunday mornings, July 2, 2017 through August 27. The class is offered at both 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
