The RENEW Student Conference is a two-day event designed for students in middle school through high school! The conference features strong teaching, powerful worship, breakout sessions and discussion prompts for students and leaders. With prizes, an amazing magic show on Friday night, and students from around the region, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! Click here for brochure.

The theme for Renew 2024 was Go! Our speakers explored three of Jesus' Go statements; Go and Do Likewise, Go and Sin No More, and Go and Make Disciples. You can check out their messages on YouTube and our podcast!

Friday night featured a magic show by John Michael Hinton and Saturday featured a talk and demonstration by World Champion Lumberjill Martha King!

John Michael Hinton

As seen on the CW’s hit show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and with millions of views on YouTube, John Michael Hinton performs close-up magic for audiences of 10 to 10,000. World Champion Lumberjill

Martha King

Pennsylvania native Martha King is a three-time National Champion and multi-title World Champion Lumberjill. Following in her father’s footsteps, she picked up her first racing axe at The Pennsylvania State University and instantly felt she had found her niche. Martha’s competitive nature drives her to perfect her craft in a traditionally male dominated sport. Since she began her Timbersports journey, Martha has set several national and world records in both sawing and chopping disciplines. With her platform, Martha strives to inspire others to pursue God and to realize they don’t have to fit the mold in order to dominate an industry. Katie Small

Katie Small is an artist who has traveled the world using her gifts to worship God and point others to Him. She ministers at conferences, painting on stage during the worship and messages. You can learn more about her at www.katiesmallpainter.com

2024 Speakers

Raymond Garcia

Rev. Garcia is the Founder and Executive Director of The Philadelphia Project and Pastor of Roxborough Church. His wife, Michelle, serves with him in his ministries. They have four children; Isaiah, Nathan, Thomas, and Cadence.

Danny Kwon

Danny Kwon, Ph.D., is an author, speaker, and the Senior Director of Youth Ministry Content and Cross Cultural Initiatives for Rooted Ministry. Before joining Rooted, he served as the Youth and Family Pastor at Yuong Sang Church, a bicultural, bilingual Korean-American congregation outside Philadelphia for 29 years. Danny and his wife Monica have three children.

Vanessa Russell

Vanessa is a teacher in the UrbanPromise Academy. Her 15 years with UrbanPromise began as a summer intern, during which she was thrilled with the opportunity to serve God and the children He loves so much. Her husband, James, is the Programming Director for the children and youth programs at UrbanPromise.

The cost of the conference is $45 per person but we are offering an early-bird discounted ticket at $35 per person through Sunday, February 11, 2024.

February 12-26 the price is $45 per person.
