Don’t miss the free “Voices In Praise Concert” on Friday, June 7, 2019, 7-8:30 p.m. at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church.
Join us for an evening of music and praise for the entire family led by three of the greatest sacred composers of our time- Joseph Martin, Heather Sorenson and Pepper Choplin. Each artist will share one of their newest choral works, through a talented choir of nearly a hundred vocalists from four surrounding states and a symphonic orchestra with over two-dozen players, before sharing their testimony of how God has blessed them through His music.
With over 2,000 compositions in print, Joseph Martin is celebrated around the world for both his sacred and secular pieces. The way he brings humor into his performances is only matched by his phenomenal solo work on the piano. Come and enjoy both sides of this dynamic artist!
Over the years, Heather Sorenson’s journey has led her through a wide spectrum of musical experiences, including music education, children’s musical productions, orchestrating, and church music. She is best known, however, as a piano and choral arranger.
With a diverse musical background, Pepper Choplin’s compositions incorporate varied styles such as folk, gospel, classical, and jazz. His published works include more than 230 anthems for church and school choirs, 13 church cantatas, and a book of piano compositions.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brandywine Valley Baptist Church (get directions) on Friday, June 7, to listen and be inspired by three uniquely talented Christian artists raising their Voices In Praise, and to experience “singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs” like you never have before! The concert is free and tickets are not required. This is the only sacred music event in this region during 2019.
Childcare will be available for those ages 5 and under. If you need childcare, sign up in the Lobby on Sunday mornings beginning May 19.
If you are interested in participating as a singer, visit the JW Pepper website to register.
