Women’s Christmas Tea
What’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season? The Brandywine Women’s Christmas Tea on Saturday, December 1, 9-11:30 a.m. It is our largest women’s gathering of the year. Highly anticipated by those who attended last year’s event, the Christmas Tea is sure to be memorable for all who attend. Return home inspired to pull out your holiday decorations and cue up the Christmas music after enjoying the festive decor and singing beloved Christmas carols led by Jill Shute.
Arrive to tables set with fine china where you will sample tasty scones and Christmas cookies and drink from delicate cups filled with tea or coffee poured by courteous gentlemen servers. Laugh at a light-hearted skit performed by our own comedians Phoebe Bosma and Julie Lober. Be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas after hearing a message entitled ‘Becoming a Woman of PEACE in a Crazy World’ by Kaely Johnson. Enjoy discussion with your table about what it means to be a woman of peace.
Invite friends, family, coworkers and neighbors or come alone and get to know other women in the church and from the surrounding community. The cost is $5 and free childcare is provided. You must indicate your need for childcare during registration. Advance registration and payment required by November 27. Register now.
Would you consider loaning your china to the event, bringing cookies, or helping to clean up? If yes, please let us know when you register. Register online now (beginning Thursday, Nov. 8) or in the Lobby on Sunday mornings beginning November 11. (Online registration will take you to a third-party site that we use for event registration.)
See you on Saturday, December 1, 9-11:30 a.m. downstairs in BVBC’s Fellowship Hall.
