Men’s Weekend: November 7 & 8

We’re excited to launch our first annual Men’s Weekend on November 7-8! This is a powerful opportunity for men of all ages to step away from the busyness of life, grow deeper in their faith, and build strong friendships rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our keynote speaker is Pastor Will Pavone, a dynamic teacher of God’s Word and one of Pastor Nate’s closest friends. Together, we’ll be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live as men whose whole lives are shaped by the gospel.

The weekend includes worship, teaching, fellowship, and plenty of fun. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday, and we’ll cap things off with a Men’s Hangout Saturday evening.

Don’t miss this chance to invest in your walk with Christ and connect with other men who want to pursue Him together. Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and get ready for a weekend that could change your life!

Will Pavone serves as the Lead Pastor at Christ Fellowship Church in West Chicago. Since assuming pastoral leadership in 2014, he has helped guide the church forward with a heart for the gospel, strong discipleship, and community engagement. Pastor Will is known for his passion for Jesus, his commitment to gospel-centered ministry, and his desire to see lives shaped by God’s Word.

Will holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, equipping him to teach the Scriptures with clarity, depth, and love. Before arriving in West Chicago, he served at McLean Bible Church, contributing in preaching, worship, and ministry leadership, where he and Pastor Nate Keeler became close friends, confidants, and ministry partners.

Beyond the pulpit, Will values real relationships, authentic faith, and serving his community. He and his family (wife Carrie and their children) have embraced the West Chicago area as home.

Connection and Discleship Environments

Brandywine Men offer several ways to grow in faith and friendship: Breakfasts, Firepits and Men’s Groups.

Men’s Breakfasts:
Men’s Breakfasts are held quarterly on Saturday mornings, 8:00-10:00am, at Brandywine. These gatherings include worship, fellowship, and biblical encouragement from a guest speaker.

Firepits:
Firepits are informal monthly gatherings around a fire where men can relax, share life honestly, and encourage one another in their walk with Christ. These are organically organized. Interested in starting a firepit? Contact Rob Cook.

Men’s Groups:
Men’s groups meet weekly or bi-weekly for Bible study, prayer, accountability, and friendship. See below for group information.

Men’s Groups

Men’s Monday AM Bible Study

WHEN: Monday mornings

This is a cross-generational group of men who study a variety of topics including the Bible, family, and topics pertinent to the group’s lives. They meet as a large group for prayer support and life sharing, then may break up into several smaller groups to further discuss the study.

Wednesday Men’s Breakfast Group

WHEN: Wednesday mornings

This is a cross-generational men’s group. We meet at Lucky’s Coffee Shop to read and discuss the weekly sermon text. The purpose of this group is to build relationships where we can sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

Saturday Morning Group (Sayadian)

WHEN: Saturday mornings

This is a cross-generational men’s group that studies Christian books. The aim of this group is to build a support network men can rely on in times of trial.

Extraordinary Dads

WHEN: Monthly, Third Thursday, 6:30pm

Extraordinary Dads is a support group for fathers with children (kids or adult children) who have special needs. The time together is spent seeking guidance from God’s word and praying for each other and our children.

Broken Beginnings Men’s Discipleship

WHEN: Sundays, 2:00pm

It is our desire and determination to make disciples. Join us for lunch, prayer, praise reports, worship music, and the teaching of the Word.
