Pastor Nate Keeler speaks about "Israel's Hardened Heart" from Romans 9:30-10:13 and Romans 10:18-21. In chapter 9 Paul focused on God’s Sovereignty but now Paul focuses on man’s responsibility to receive and believe the Gospel. Paul will explain why the Jewish people have not accepted the gift of salvation and why we could be susceptible to the same heart condition.

In Romans Part 4: God’s Providence, Paul answers the question raised from Romans 8:30: If God’s call of someone to salvation ultimately brings them to glory, what do we make of God’s chosen people, Israel, and their unbelief? Paul explores God’s mysterious sovereignty in choosing Israel, the inclusion of the Gentiles, our role in reaching Jews and Gentiles, and God’s ultimate plan for Israel. Not only does Romans 9-11 tell us about the history of the Jewish people but it gives us insight into how God works behind the scenes to bring His providential plans to fruition. We can trust Him, even in what we don’t understand.
