The Giant of Addiction

Pastor Nate Keeler addresses The Giant of Addiction. One of the most tragic ways people avoid pain, seek satisfaction and cope with life is through addiction to “functional gods” like substances, pornography, technology and even shopping. While we use these addictions to cope, they cannot deliver what they promise. Their pathway leads to further shame, spiritual and emotional disconnection, and destruction. But there is hope for those struggling with addiction through a relationship with Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit and support in the body of Christ. The sermon context is from Romans 6:11-14.
