H.A.B.I.T.S.: Bible - Why Should We Study It?

Pastor Todd focuses on 2 Timothy 3:17 in explaining reasons why believers should study God's word. 1. We study the Bible to know and apply truth to our lives. 2. We study to equip ourselves to do the good works prepared by God in advance for us (Ephesians 2:10). 3. We study because the application of God's Word is a means of sanctification, showing us how to navigate life's challenges. As we continue in this process of sanctification, our lives will become a testimony to others of God's work, thereby illuminating a path to Christ.

The Power of Relationships: Part 2

Pastor Todd talks about what it looks like to live in community with one another in the local church. In Galatians 6:1-10, the apostle Paul addresses this topic with believers in the early church. Following Paul's instructions, believers are exhorted to: (1) bear one another's burdens as a means to truly live; and (2) seek out opportunities to do good to everyone. Our ability and availability to live out these principles is dependent on our relationship with Christ and our willingness to surrender to Him.
