From Series: "Romans Part 4: God’s Providence"

In Romans Part 4: God’s Providence, Paul answers the question raised from Romans 8:30: If God’s call of someone to salvation ultimately brings them to glory, what do we make of God’s chosen people, Israel, and their unbelief? Paul explores God’s mysterious sovereignty in choosing Israel, the inclusion of the Gentiles, our role in reaching Jews and Gentiles, and God’s ultimate plan for Israel. Not only does Romans 9-11 tell us about the history of the Jewish people but it gives us insight into how God works behind the scenes to bring His providential plans to fruition. We can trust Him, even in what we don’t understand.

A Song of Wonder

David wrote many of the Psalms. In Psalm 8, a song of wonder, David marvels at God’s greatness displayed in creation. Then he’s shocked by the reality that this infinite God cares for small, fragile humans. The tension between God’s majesty and our smallness - yet our God-given dignity - forms the heartbeat of this psalm. Pastor Matthew McNutt shares "A Song of Wonder" from Psalm 8.
