Holy Week for the whole family
Join us Holy Week as we remember the death of Jesus Christ and celebrate His resurrection. All are welcome, bring the whole family!
This year our Holy Week services look a little different than past years. Because we are walking with Jesus through the end of the book of Mark, and walking with the Church through this season of Lent, we want our Holy Week services to reflect that journey as well. Here’s how we will engage with the story of Holy Week:

Holy Thursday: Seder Service and Kids’ Program
WHEN: Thursday, April 6, 7pm
On Holy Thursday we will have a special Seder service. This service will walk through what Jesus and his disciples would have experienced during their final Passover meal the night before He was crucified. There’s a Kids’ Program for birth through 5th grade (advanced registration required). Children will learn about Seder and the Easter story while hearing a Bible lesson, making a craft and having game/play time. This service will be livestreamed on our website and on Facebook.
Good Friday: Tenebrae Service
WHEN: Friday, April 7, 7pm
This year our Tenebrae Service will take place on Good Friday. This will be a vesper service of quiet reflection of Jesus’ journey to the cross. It is a candlelight service of spoken word, scripture and music. Once you’ve experienced this time of remembrance, Easter Sunday is even more glorious! Due to the somber and quiet nature of the service, childcare is available up to 5th grade, no registration required. This service will be livestreamed on our website and on Facebook.
Easter Sunday: Resurrection Celebration
WHEN: Sunday, April 9
We will celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday with three services: 8:00am Traditional, 9:30am Contemporary and 11:00am Contemporary. The service will be livestreamed at 9:30am. Classes are ONLY available are children for ages 4 and under during the 9:30am and 11:00am services.
Alpha
Alpha is a chance to ask questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment. Alpha takes place across eleven sessions with the option of a day away in the middle. Learn more about Alpha.
Volunteers Needed for Kid’s Program
Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the Holy Thursday Kids’ Program. Thankfully, enough people have registered to serve and we have enough volunteers for this year. Be on the lookout for future service opportunities with Brandywine Kids.
