Go Coordinator
LOCATION: Brandywine Valley Church in Wilmington, Delaware, United States
HOURS: Flexible part-time hours
POSITION SUMMARY: The Go Coordinator supports the Community Life Director in cultivating and coordinating gospel outreach and service opportunities that connect Brandywine Valley Church with the surrounding community, with a special emphasis on partnerships in the city of Wilmington. This role includes administrative, relational, and logistical support for church-wide events, partner relationships, and mobilization efforts that help the church serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in basic office tools (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace); experience with Church Community Builder is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Outreach & Event Support:
- Assist in planning and executing outreach events, such as GO Week, Serve Sunday, seasonal service initiatives, and partner-supported events.
- Help manage event logistics such as sign-ups, supplies, communication, and volunteer coordination.
- Provide on-site support during outreach events, including setup, tear-down, and volunteer engagement.
Volunteer & Partnership Coordination
- Maintain contact lists and scheduling tools for local ministry partners and service opportunities.
- Work with the Director to identify, recruit, and train Mobilization volunteers.
- Communicate with volunteer teams and assist with scheduling, reminders, and follow-up.
- Support the Director in cultivating and strengthening gospel-centered partnerships in the community.
- Assist in providing necessary training for evangelism and service.
Administrative Support
- Follow up with internal and external serving requests.
- Maintain accurate records of service participation and event outcomes.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and celebration of “wins” (stories, photos, updates for communication).
- Help create and maintain accessible serving pipelines and promotional materials (digital and print).
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to Community Life Director
- Works closely with partner ministries and volunteer teams
