Concrete & Cranes VBS

July 26-30, 2021 // 9:00 a.m. to noon daily

Building on the love of Jesus!

As kids explore a world of concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes, they will learn to build their faith on Jesus as they uncover the truth that He who began a good work will be faithful to carry it on to completion. VBS is a week of fun and learning about God’s love for us. Kids travel through stations (craft, snack, missions, games and Bible) as they discover God’s Word each day.

When: July 26-30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to noon daily

RegisterConcrete & Cranes VBS

Registration closes on Monday, July 12, 2021 or when capacity has been reached. Capacity is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Because spots are limited, please do not register if your child is unable to attend for the full week. Thank you.

VBS COVID Policy:
We encourage families to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Delaware Division of Public of Health guidelines regarding the wearing of masks. This applies to adult leaders, teen helpers and children attending.
Snack time will take place outside.

Please do not send your child to VBS if:

  • Anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19 (Elevated temperature, cough, trouble breathing, etc.) OR
  • Your child has been directly exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of VBS.

VBS FAMILY NIGHT:
All VBS families are invited to join us on Thursday, July 29, 6-8 p.m. in our parking lot for our VBS Family Night. At 7 p.m. we will have a short outdoor program highlighting some of the things the kids learned at VBS. After the program, enjoy a free ice cream treat!  Prior to the program, join us for an alfresco dinner in our parking lot starting at 6 p.m. There will be food trucks from which you can purchase dinner or bring your own picnic dinner. Meet some of the volunteers and kids your child has been interacting with at VBS. Bring a chair with you for each member of your family who is attending. There is NO advanced registration for Family Night.

VIRTUAL VBS:
We are so excited to announce a VIRTUAL VBS option! If you are unable to participate in our in-person VBS, you can do VBS at home! You pick the dates and times that work best for you! This can even be done in ADDITION to in-person VBS. It’s a great outreach for your neighborhood!

This summer, we are offering an at-home VBS called BOLT: Totally 80’s. It’s like last year’s BOLT VBS only with a mullet! We are taking a tubular trip through the early church—and we want your family to join us!

With minimal preparation, easy-to-follow instructions, and a video that leads you and your kids step-by-step through each of the four days, BOLT is designed for you to do with your family at home. It’s so simple!

Depending on your pace, you can expect that each day’s experience will last about an hour and a half. It’s great for kids 4 and up. Even middle and high school kids can enjoy it!

Click to request the BOLT: Totally 80’s website portal. This is not a commitment to participate but will give you all the information you’ll need if you decide to.

We need adults and teens to serve as guides and station helpers during VBS. Learn more about volunteering at VBS.
