Pastor Nate Keeler addresses The Giant of Mental Illness. We will grapple with one of the most misunderstood and least discussed subjects in the church: mental illness. Most people avoid those with mental illness out of fear, awkwardness and the unknown. In this message we will do some myth busting to help people understand what mental illness is and isn’t, share hope for the afflicted, as well as discuss how to offer support in the body of Christ. The sermon context is from Psalm 42.
