Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities are offered from the time school ends to 1:30pm throughout the year. These include, but are not limited to, Soccer Shots and Gymnastics.
After Care
After Care is offered everyday (unless otherwise noted on our calendar) to all students in our two-year-old, three-year-old, and pre-kindergarten classes. Learn more about the Stay-n-Play program for all students. Extracurricular activities are offered on select days and are only available for students in our three-year-old and pre-kindergarten classes.
Children should bring their own packed lunch. They will eat with their peers and then head to the activity at 12:30pm If your child is staying for an extracurricular activity, the cost is $3 per day ($5 per day 2024-2025), plus the cost of the activity. At the end of each month, you will be billed for your child’s attendance.
We also offer different events throughout the year to enhance the children’s experiences, including:
- Field Trips: The children attend two field trips per year, one in the fall and one in the spring. We are also visited by Officer Friendly and the Fire Department who teaches us about fire safety.
- Thanksgiving Feasts: In the week prior to Thanksgiving, each class provides a feast for their parents and grandparents. It is a special time for everyone to come together and be thankful.
- Christmas Concert: Each year, the children present a program of singing, Bible memory, poetry and the Christmas story for their families. It is an amazing time to celebrate the birth of Christ.
- Chapel: Parents are always welcome to attend our weekly chapel. Each week, we come together as a whole school to worship God and to learn more about Him. It is a fun, interactive time.
- Pizza with Pops: Throughout the school year, we offer a special night for dads, grandfathers and uncles to spend time with their children. They enjoy a fun night of pizza, games and popsicles!
- Show-and-Tell: Many teachers provide a time each week for the children to bring in show-and-tell items. This helps promote public speaking and oral language.
- Valentine’s Day (Special Person’s Day/Grandparent’s Day): We love having grandparents or other special people in the children’s lives join us each year to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
- Easter Chapel: A guest speaker joins us for this special chapel and speaks to the children about Jesus’ death and resurrection. Parents are invited to come to chapel with their children.
- Mother’s Day Tea: Moms wear many hats and do so much for their children. Our Mother’s Day Tea is a way we say “Thank you!” Every May, we provide tea for you and your child to enjoy. The fine china comes out and finger foods are served. Only the best for our moms!
- Service Projects: Twice a year we participate in a service project. We pick one local organization and one international organization. Helping these organizations provides great teaching moments when shopping or collecting items.
