Advent and Christmas 2025
We invite you to join us this Christmas season! Sunday mornings in December, our Advent sermon series is “Behind Enemy Lines.” This Advent series is not what you expected. This is not just a sweet nativity story, but it is the opening of a cosmic war where Christ invades enemy territory. This Advent, join us as we study Revelation 12, pulling back the curtain on the unseen spiritual conflict surrounding the Incarnation and what it means for us today.

December special events
Young Adults Christmas Connect
WHEN: Friday, December 5, 6:30pm
Join us at the Brandywine Young Adults’ Christmas Connect — an event designed for young adults to hang out, worship, grow through meaningful teaching, Q&A, and community (plus free dinner!). Learn more about our Young Adults Ministry.
Special Senior Holiday Luncheon
WHEN: Monday, December 8, 12:00pm
Join other seniors for a special holiday luncheon. It will be a time of enjoying a delicious buffet and singing treasured Christmas Carols. The menu includes: soup, salad and chicken breast with dessert to follow. The Luncheon costs $15 per person. Purchase your tickets now. Registration closes on Tuesday, December 2.
Kids’ Christmas Musical
WHEN: Saturday, December 13, 5:00pm
Kids’ Christmas Choir will perform the musical, Meet Me at the Manger. The musical tells the story of a children’s choir whose plans to sing at a department store are canceled. Instead, they join the Lighthouse Mission’s Christmas party, where they learn the beautiful truth of what God truly desires from us: willing hearts, to lift our voices in prayer and praise to Christ, and lives dedicated to Him.
Our Kids’ Christmas Choir (grades 1-8) has been practicing for this musical since September! Bring the whole family to this family-friendly, free concert. For those who can’t make it in person, the musical will be livestreamed on our website and YouTube.
Christmas at Brandywine Choral Concert
WHEN: Monday, December 15, 6:30pm
Join us for a wonderful evening of Christmas music presented by the Jubilee Singers, the premier vocal group of Wilmington Christian School. Admission is free. Invite your family and friends to experience this special evening!
Christmas Eve Services
WHEN: Wednesday, December 24
3:00pm Service features contemporary music. This service will be livestreamed on our website and on YouTube. Childcare is available for children age 4 and under with advanced registration. Childcare registration closes Sunday, December 21.
4:30pm Service features contemporary music. Childcare is available for children age 4 and under with advanced registration. Childcare registration closes Sunday, December 21.
6:00pm Service features traditional music.
All of our Christmas Eve Services feature carols by candlelight and communion.
Christmas Family Photos
Our Christmas gift to you is a free family photo! Families of all sizes – big, small, singles and couples – are invited to have their photo taken in our beautiful holiday photo area. A professional photographer will take photos on Sunday mornings, November 30 through December 21, after each of the services.
We will email the photo to you for your personal use (Christmas cards, gifts, social media, etc.). No strings attached! We will also use this photo to update your MyBrandywine profile.
The photos will be emailed the week after it is taken. Please be patient and allow us time to process the photos. We will get your photo to you as quickly as possible.
