“Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own cities, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of being a mom. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Is childcare available during these sessions?

Childcare is provided for children ages birth through Kindergarten during AM MOPS and MOMSnext AM. Limited space is also available for older homeschool children on a first come basis. There is no childcare provided for PM MOPS or MOMSnext PM.

Can I volunteer for MOPS?

Volunteers serve during AM MOPS from 8:45am – 11:15am providing childcare for the children (ages infant to 6 years old) of the moms attending the MOPS program. Volunteers are responsible for watching the children assigned to their age-specific room, serving a light snack and diaper changes/bathroom breaks, if needed. A current background check must be on file for all volunteers. If you do not have a background check on file, download and complete the form. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Debbie Stem or Meri Wheeler.

What Moms Say

Cheryl J.

Although I consider myself an outgoing person, I find myself more hesitant within mom groups but I am very glad I made the first step in at least attending MOPS. My first MOPS group really took me under their wing surrounding me with love, friendship, community and drew me in, even when I felt out of place. It has given me the support, connection and laughter that I needed as a new mom.

Erin B.

I look forward to MOPS each month. I love sharing breakfast, fun and faith with friends. I know my children are safe and having fun with the childcare provided.

Joni Y.

I joined MOPS because I was going through a difficult time as a single mom and needed a place to belong and have something to look forward to while I was healing. I continued in MOPS because of the connections I made with other moms that I now call friends. It has been a safe, supportive space where I can share my life and grow along the way.

Phoebe B.

MOMSnext has been a great next step after MOPS, keeping me in connection with other moms with school age kids. I love having a night out each month with other moms to laugh, talk, and support each other as we grow as moms in our faith and trying to lead our kids towards Christ.

Rossana A.

MOPS is important to me because I got to know friends when I was new to the state. The friends I have thru MOPS were a huge support system when my son was in the hospital.
MOPS gave me and my kids the space to grow in a safe environment with God as a guide.
